Malaysia, it’s been a while

We both had been to Malaysia before, but haven’t really had the chance to spend too much time in getting to know the country and it’s people. Luckily our friend Alan from Prague was in the country to visit his family and we met up and got to see the North-East, claimed to be authentic and lined with beautiful beaches. From here we made our way across the huge Kenyir lake through a big national park (my favourite road in the country) and the Cameron Highlands which unfortunately were ugly and touristic and left us very disappointed specially after seeing the damage that had been done by replacing nature with endless palm oil plantations (don’t buy!) and the resulting erosion and landslides which damaged the road on many occasions.
